Guest speakers will share insights into digital badge history, and guide the workshop through hacking the badge for weekend enjoyment. You may get assigned special hack duties for the weekend.

Joshua Fleitell | Livin’ that ‘BadgeLife’
This presentation will cover the history of PCB ‘badges’ in conferences and other settings. We’ll also discuss the techniques used, and standards created, by the now over 15+ year community at large. This will be an attempt to frame the badge-hacking workshop and shed light on the question “why are we doing this? / why is our badge a PCB cat?”…for the uninitiated to ‘BadgeLife’!
