Amusement Park Prototyping

How do you tell a story with movement in under 5 minutes. Participants will learn to prototype a multi-sensory amusement park attraction, from initial concept to rideable prototype. We will cover high-level story development, including pitch creation and storyboarding, before moving into advanced production techniques. The session includes practical training in Unreal Engine, including timeline camera animation, OSC interactivity, and real-time stereoscopic rendering techniques.

We’ll showcase live demos of both digital and physical design, learning how to build scale model dioramas for ride layout and pre-visualization. We will then bridge the gap between virtual and physical by animating motion platforms that sync with your digital scenes and even craft unique scents with a microcontroller powered scent machine.
