Radical Transparency in Multi-Disciplinary Project Delivery

What happens when we apply the principles of radical transparency to the way we design and deliver monumental and multi-disciplinary projects? Daniel Ordower will open this session with a look at how open, honest communication, sharing both successes and failures, can strengthen collaboration and build trust while navigating the cultural and business pressures that shape our projects. He’ll then be joined by Brant Underwood a design engineer and project manager from architecture, public art, and live events to explore, through case studies, how those values play out in practice.

Where transparency can help guide artists, developers, and producers to exceptional outcomes, and where that transparency falls short of its promises. Together, they’ll ask whether radical transparency is a refreshing new standard or a utopian ideal, and how it might reshape the way we work across disciplines.
