Aya KarpiĆska is an artist and user experience designer. Her artwork uses poetry expressed via video, sound, and print to explore our relationship to technology and language. Formerly a dedicated freelancer and university professor, Aya is now a Principal Designer at a large telecom company. She recently published her first illustrated storybook, The Red Shoes She Wore, and is studying oral storytelling as a community development practice with Kwame Scruggs.
