Bob Bonniol

Director of Innovation, Video

Bob Bonniol is an Emmy-winning Creative Director and Designer, equal parts showman and systems thinker, known for conjuring unforgettable spectacles at the crossroads of story, technology, and scale. He’s spent two decades transforming stages, screens, and stadiums into kaleidoscopic canvases—engineering awe with lasers, LEDs, and a touch of lunacy. At present, he is also DIrector of Innovation and Video for ACT Entertainment, where he runs the Green Hippo and tvONE brands, while introducing product and business innovation for the enterprise.

In 2025 alone, Bonniol designed Blake Shelton’s Vegas residency (think rhinestones meets revelation) and lit up the Sphere’s immense inner eye with real-time digital dreams for Gwen Stefani. The year prior, he helmed Christina Aguilera’s sparkling residency at Voltaire, broadcast Billy Joel’s 100th MSG show into Emmy history, and crafted theme park magic from Tokyo to Anaheim. Ubisoft, Disney, Meta, and Microsoft have all tapped his talents to bend reality with style and substance, and more pop stars have visited his dojo than can easily be counted.

Through his creative lab, Visible.now, Bob continues to explore the frontier of immersive entertainment, partnering with visionaries to design experiences that shimmer, provoke, and occasionally whisper back. Whether summoning a hologram, coding an eSports ritual, or directing a cabaret of angels and algorithms, Bonniol brings wild imagination, sharp execution, and a twinkle of mischief to every moment.

Bob’s pithy pronouncements can often be found in Rolling Stone Magazine, Live Design, Mondo, and at his own Substack.

He doesn’t just design shows. He reprograms reality—one pixel at a time. Or, as he says, “I’m positively vibrating”
