Jean-Luc Gason began his career in advertising and cinema post-production between 2000 and 2008, before transitioning fully into live entertainment. During this period, he worked as video content technical director on Céline Dion’s A New Day in Las Vegas and co-wrote and directed the short film La Séquence Silverstein, which was screened at major international festivals and later acquired by Canal Plus International.
In 2008, he joined Franco Dragone as Head of Image Department, contributing to large-scale productions such as The House of Dancing Water in Macau, The Han Show in Wuhan, Paris Merveille at the Lido, Britney Spears’s Circus Tour, and Holiday on Ice Tropicana. He also designed video content for India India, Ice Age Live, and Ice Age on Ice.
In 2015, he co-founded Drop The Spoon with Patrick Neys and Dirk Decloedt, where he has since overseen video production for projects like Mother of The Nation Opening in Abu Dhabi, La Perle in Dubai, and Splendor in Wuxi. Since 2016, he has also co-produced Holiday on Ice shows under Belgium’s tax-shelter scheme, combining creative and production roles.
