Matt Ross is a Technologist, Educator, and Musician with a background in Computer Science and a Masters from NYU’s ITP program. He currently builds experiences at Volvox Labs, focusing on software systems for creative expression and non-traditional interfaces.
As a member of Volvox Labs’ technology team, Matt helps lead and execute large-scale projects such as kinetic sculptures, live concert visuals, and permanent media architecture installations. His work has been showcased at institutions like the Brooklyn Mirage, The Shed, and the US Open, and he has delivered projects for clients including Microsoft, Lizzo, Prada Beauty, and Cadillac. Additionally, Matt is a part-time faculty member at The New School, where he teaches Touchdesigner and Interactive Design.
