Bateman is a digital media specialist who bridges live production, education, and technology. Before joining PIXERA, now as Community Development Manager, he toured with _Marvel Universe Live_, created media for Arizona Opera’s _Riders of the Purple Sage_, and supervised lighting at The Public Theater, including Shakespeare in the Park.
At PIXERA, he now develops global training programs, learning resources, and community initiatives that make complex media tools approachable. He also contributes to events like _Battle of the Busk_ at LDI and serves as a Commissioner with the USITT Digital Media Commission. Offstage, Bateman enjoys sports, having been a mascot at his Alma Mater, storytelling, and rolling dice in D&D.
